Why do some people have so many children?

Someone ik is pregnant with her 6th...I find it ridiculous and in some ways cruel, since the future looks so grim.

To get more government benefits and tax breaks obviously or they are religious dipshits who don't believe in anything that actually improves lives like abortion, condoms and birth control and women's rights.
