Why would a teenager need a babysitter? I was babysitting my little brother when I was 10 lol.

It's called teacher, coach, chaperone or counselor in junior high or highschool.

Others are called tutor, guardian, "mentor" or parental (father/mother) figures.

In all those cases the teenagers are not alone.
