My parents called it companion sitting. I could take care of myself but if a real emergency happened I needed someone older around to handle it I guess.

There are a lot of snowflakes in the 20 to 30 year old range that should have baby sitters I have seen as it appears they cannot bathe, dress or feed themselves properly........and most of all they cannot think in logical terms. That maybe why we ended up with a president that doesn't know what state he is in, thinks he ran for the senate, per his speeches a few days ago wants to get at least "300 people vaccinated". they also need nannies that are also well educated in history, economics and constitutional law to educate the little snowflakes.
