Desmond feels bad that he sleeps so heavily even through our baby crying at night

In all fairness, Des is a very heavy sleeper. Believe me, I’ve fooled around with him enough in his sleep to know it takes a lot to wake him up, lol. But seriously, even if it does make me sleep-deprived, in the grand scheme of things, I really don’t mind looking after our son at night. Desmond is the one working every day of the week to provide for us. He needs the rest. Regardless, Lucas always just wants his momma. It’s better that I’m there to calm him down at night. I think Desmond gets it now but he’s still a dad himself. It’s only natural for him to be concerned for his son. 🫂
