My baby was asleep when he was born

Labor went off without a hitch, but when Lucas wasn't making any sounds after I birthed him, that created a brief moment of concern. But the doctor was able to wake him up, then he got crying. Caught him in the middle of a nap is all. Guess he was just being a heavy sleeper like his dad. 😂

One of my twins was like that. He didn’t cry ever and was sleeping through the night at 6 weeks. I was sure something was wrong with him and I insisted that the doctor do like some test tests and they did a neurological ultrasound and determined he’s perfectly healthy and just a baby that likes to sleep a lot. He’s 23 now and has just been the most amazing kid to raise
