The best advice my mother gave me when I was struggling with that was… put her on the bottle. Things became a lot easier after that.

@TiaRose Totally understandable. Just don’t feel trapped by some people’s opinions in society of…breastfeeding has benefits to only good mothers breastfeed.

Exactly you are there for your baby, and trying each day, as this is a new venture and part of your life, just like for him! There's no such thing as perfect anyway, so just try the best you can in the moment, and hey, if sometimes you have to do bottle formula, he is still getting love and fuel , so it's a win for breastfeeding and it's a win for formula too. :)

I can assure you that this quite normal and that you're not the only one. Just continue the good fight!
Be very careful. Formula supplementing is frowned upon but our guy was early and he just couldn't master what was required to get anything like what he needed. Make sure baby K. is thriving and do what it takes to assure that.
