I should abandon my adopted family

I have always felt like I was meant to be born into a different family but yet I was with a family where I was different from everyone else in the family and felt like I didn't belong in the family I wasn't like anyone else in my adoptive family I was different from everyone in my adopted family and felt like I couldn't accept this family as my family

Sounds like your birth and adoption situation may not have been ideal. Was it a cross culture adoption? Maybe your birth mom an alcoholic or on drugs? Abandoned and institutionalized too long?

We have family and friends that touched all of the above, some with happy endings, some with tragic endings, some still undecided.

Sounds like you may have been short changed a bit and are now trying to sort things out. Like putting the pieces of a puzzle back together and the only thing you know is how you feel about it. That’s a good enough starting point for your challenge of unraveling how you got to be here now and unhappy. There are others who walked the same journey that you are on. Some who may offer inspiration and examples of how they found happiness or closure.

I assume your goal is to find happiness and peace of mind. Don’t lose track of that and let every discovery bring you closer to that goal.

Guy when folks replied to this once with their time and energy, don't keep re asking the same question, it drives folks away from your posts.
Only if they were mean to you.. but that's sad anyway...
I think you should make a post about it another 10 times before making a decision. 🙄

@OlderSometimesWiser you really think so?
No, I have a much better idea... how about you keep on posting about it until you get a warning banner for spamming the site???
