I haven’t seen my uncle in a hot minute. I came in to watch after my grandma for the night.

The door was left open for me so I slid on in, turned the kitchen lights on and plopped right onto the couch.

Uncle: *walks out of his room and looks at me just texting on my phone looking as comfortable as ever*
And You’re supposed to be watching grandma??

Me: Yeah

Uncle: Your dad convinced you? 👀

Me: Well I’m really not doing it for him, It's for her. Y’know what I’m shayin’ ?

Uncle: *walks towards the kitchen* No I hear you. You need these lights on?

Me: Yeah, can you leave them on please?

Uncle: Why?

Me: Cause I’m scared 🙂‍↔

Uncle: *gets this disbelieving smile on his face* Really?
