I wouldn't buy an electric car made anywhere. I don't care if gasoline was $50 a gallon, I'm never going to buy an electric car.

EVs are an absolute no for me. One from China gets an absolutely not.

I had a plug-in hybrid as a rental. It was okay, but didn't seem reliable. The icing on the cake was when I filled up before returning, the fuel gauge stuck on 3/4. Luckily, they must have checked after I explained because I didn't get any extra charges for returning w/o a full tank. So, no.

Hell no. I prefer electric. It's all we own .. but not if it's made in china.

I wouldn’t buy an electric car Chinese or otherwise.

They’ve had problems with batteries on motorbikes over there catching fire and burning down motorbike parks next to buildings. I wouldn’t trust their electric cars either.

I wouldn't buy ANY eclectic car. We haven't developed a reliable technology for car batteries (worldwide). I can't count the number of electric car fires we've had around here just this year (causing interstates to be shut down, destroying homes, starting wildfires).

Probably not. But American cars have gone to $ hit. Give me an old a$$ ford pickup and I’ll be happy. They’re indestructible.

I would not. I've bought many things made in China, and they cut corners at every opportunity. They use the cheapest materials.

I bought a "stainless steel" dishrack at Bed Bath and Beyond, and paid really good money for it, but it was made in China...and about 2 years later the "stainless steel" paint began to peel off.

I bought a lovely set of oversized soup bowls, all in white, with the most beautiful classical pattern! I paid $47 for a set of 6...only to find out that they had ALL been glazed with the cheapest, softest, lead based white glaze...which chipped if a spoon even rested on the edge of the bowl. It's not safe to eat acidic foods from them!

EVERYTHING you buy that is made in China comes with a built-in "surprise".
