Adelina said she’s ready to go back to her place now

She’s been staying with Desmond and I for two and a half weeks now after I offered her to while she grieves our poor dog Ulysses who we had to put down. But we finally received his ashes yesterday and she seems eager to build a little space for him in her house to hold him and all we have to remember him by. She’s already bought a little shelf that’s supposed to arrive today she’s going to assemble as soon as she can. She told me earlier she’s ready to go back home and will start getting her stuff she brought over together so I can take her back tonight. I guess she just needed her little Uly back before she was ready.

I admit, it was actually really good having her around. She was helpful with chores, cooking and looking after Lucas. Desmond and I ever shared our bed at first. That was a little weird at first, but I got used to it over time. Now it’ll be weird for a while not waking up between her and Desmond, lol. I’ve posted before having her stay with us was kinda looking into another life where Desmond and her both have a close place in my life and all three of us raise Lucas together as a family. These past couple weeks have basically been a glimpse of such a reality that I would love to see it happen someday.
