Landlord situation
A few months ago, a tree fell and hit our roof. Well it caused a massive leak in the ceiling. Whenever it rains, I mean it pours all over my mom’s bed. Lol
I know I shouldn’t laugh. Anyways… the landlord has sent someone over twice and both said they refuse or can’t work on it. The third (today) tried to tarp it and said the gutters are shot. So they didn’t do anything. I’m not sure what you do at this point if a landlord decides they’re not paying like we need time to move. She hasn’t fixed anything in 15 years so enough enough imo but my mom keeps hanging on like I’m just done with it. I hate living with her but it’s hard to live alone when you’re poor. Plus I’m a recovering alcoholic and moved in when I finally decided to get help. She wants to sue or stop paying rent to save to move
