Do you think the son was wrong?

Ok, so there was and elderly lady about 60 years old and she had a son about 35. And he was an owner of a very popular restaurant. The elderly lady got sick and had to go to a hospital she quickly formed a strong bond with one nurse that was treating her and she told the nurse that her son was the owner of this popular restaurant and she would get him to bring her a plate. So, she told her son and he didn’t like the idea that she promised the nurse a plate without asking him first. So, he not only didn’t bring a plate but didn’t come to see her for the rest of her stay at the hospital.

Definitely son is in the wrong she was proud of him and he should never turn down a small request of a parent

The son seems likely to be wrong for that, but also depends on context. Like if he was barely making ends meet and his mom did this a lot while knowing I could understand his frustration. Still I would never skip my mom in the hospital no matter the argument.
Son could be an a-hole or there’s a whole lot more to the story.

Seems harsh unless his Mother did this often

@Northwest Like what? Son didn't bring a plate. I would have brought 12 plates.
