Desmond and I hugged each other just now

Today was my baby shower and this was after we finished unloading everything we got from it into what is to be Lucas’ bedroom. But once we were all done, we just looked each other in the eyes for a moment and just hugged him. I teared up, naturally, but he just held me firm. We’re finally ready to welcome our son into this world.
