I miss my grandmother too. I wonder what my life would be like is she didn't pass away when I was young
Miram · 31-35, F
@Cigarguys I be your grandma from an extremely different culture in this post.
I am proud of you for being an awesome parent, friend and partner. You created a beautiful home and you're doing so well.

This means power. Whatever you do, you give power to it.

And wherever you go too.

I wish you still had them
Miram · 31-35, F
@Poppies Yes. I went overboard and hoarded the past in my own way. Grief is a weird thing. I like going to their places and taking care of them. The trees they ate from and gave away from. The water routes they built still feeding plants. The people they loved still thriving. They did a lot of good and it is still here. They're not really gone.
When you're born in my grandfather's tribe , a tree gets planted and you take care of that tree and propogate it. All theirs and the ones they kept, I keep them too.

So, the troublemaking started early in life. LOL
Miram · 31-35, F
@MayorOfCrushtown Yes, I was always a lot to manage to be honest. I don't know why I was so different than other kids back then.
But it is good thing, in my early childhood at least. I would not be here otherwise.

They are still around, just in an other form than you remember, once in the sound of the wind, an other time in a flower you see on your farm, or even in the sound of a bird and for sure in the form of a memory or thought what got triggered by things you see happen around you .
