both my grandparents are in the hospital
different states on different sides of the family namely my dad's dad and my mom's mom.. who is now in hospice.. my mom's sister is already talking about cremation.. 😒

@writhe i'm not really close with my mom's side of my family and have over time heard stories of my grandfather that weren't good so i was a bit leery of him as well.. it's just something that they've both went into decline recently tho my mother's mother has been having a touch of Alzheimer's dementia the past few years i guess she recently had internal bleeding but refuses to drink the stuff to clear her system so they can operate on her.. so they are just letting it run its course which they deem to be a few weeks.. idk about my grandfather.. he used to be a big strong rancher and oil rig worker back in the day it's a bit shocking to see him small and withering away and literally being blown over in the wind 🤐 i tried to call him but it just went straight to voicemail.. it was hard to talk to my grandmother when she was in the nursing home because half the tine she thought she was elsewhere and didn't know who i was either and would start to talk to people in the hall instead of on the phone .. 🤐 but i think my mom and sister are going to go up to visit her.. and my dad will visit his dad and brother
