I have a LOT of my father's personality. He was gregarious, and had a GREAT sense of humor, and lots of friends. He was extremely generous to his friends and to his nieces and nephews, who used to call him "Dollar Bob"...🤣🤣🤣
He was a Scout leader, and helped out in his community. He was a little bit of a showman, too.
He asked me to sew costumes for him from various regions around the world. He taught World Regioal Geography...so on Japanese night he would wear the geta, and the Tabi I made for him, along with his Kimono which I also made. AND he would bring the electric skillet from home into class, and cook Suikiyaki for the entire class!!! His classes were SO much fun! (Yes, I always got an "A"...🤣🤣🤣
Unfortunately, I have an equal measure of my mother's personality. She was always quiet and sat back and laughed while my father stole the show!
In ME, this manifests as a woman who is very quiet in real life, but who can FINALLY be herself...just a little bit...when she gets onto the internet! I DO help out in my community, too.
