It's been two weeks since my dad passed

I miss him and it's really hit me... Will I never hug him again? Never talk about a great new show together? Or hear his silly remarks about an issue I'm dealing with?

I'm not religious so I don't know about an afterlife, but at least I do know his spirit is with me everyday. We played all his favorite songs tonight.
Wherever you are Dad, we love you and hope you know that. 🌹🩷

Playing his favorite songs tonight made me tear up. That’s love. And whether there’s an afterlife or not, he’s in you — in your humor, your taste, the way you handle things. That doesn’t disappear.
