I don't walk barefoot in my apartment...ever. When my shoes come off, my slides go ON.
I am in charge of CLEANING the mop head after my cleaning lady mops lightly each week...and I happen to know how much DIRT there is on the mop head. The cleaning lady could actually mop the floor three times and STILL bring up dirt.
When I ordered SLIDES to wear inside my apartment, I ordered them with WHITE soles...because black soled flip flops or slides left black streaks on the floor. AND NOW, after wearing the slides for two years indoors....their soles having turned a light greyish black with dirt.
So...no WAY my bare feet are touching this floor.
Now, for the no shoes people: Despite the fact that when you take off your shoes before entering your home, IF there is EVER more than one person walking barefoot inside your home, you risk sharing their foot fungus, OR their foot parasites. EW. So...to the no shoes people...EWWWW.
🤣🤣🤣
