When someone says to hold your horses, play it by ear and not rock the boat, do you ever feel like you’re in a very confused orchestra ?

I am ALWAYS holding my horses. They are frisky brutes! I don't get along with boats...I get so seasick! So, it's JUST the horses, and who the hell cares what that confused conductor says, anyway?
