Gmaws dementia is getting worse by the day now

Last week, gmaws favorite sister (M) passed away. It was expected, but still sad.

Earlier this week the still living siblings met up at gmaws house so they could all plan the funeral together. (It's hard for gmaw to get out of the house, which is why they met at hers)

I learned today that during the planning of Ms funeral, gmaw kept asking "Why isn't M here? She's the only one missing."

Note: 3 or 4 of the 9 siblings have already passed, so the confusion is not caused by gmaw being used to all of them still being alive.

Needless to say, they are very worried about gmaw now, as are us younger relatives.

Very sad situation all around. She still lives alone, yes? Sounds like the time may be coming for that to change.

@OlderSometimesWiser Yes, she lives alone in her house. My uncle lives in his own house on the same plot howeve, so he's nearby if something happens.

My uncle and I also had a talk earlier today and agreed to get nurses come by more often (currently it's only 3 times a week to put her compression stockings on)
He's also gonna convince her to accept dinner delivered by the caring home nearby a couple of times a week.
She's been living on yoghurt and bread too long already. Never making dinner even tho she has 4 freezers full of food.
