I don’t care about his addiction or mental health issues, it is NOT an excuse for killing anybody, esp. parents. I hope justice will be served.

If the guy is guilty. Then the system has failed. Either he knew what he was doing and needs to spend the rest of his hopefully short life locked away. Or he has no idea what he did, and if he ever realises it, then he would want to end himself out of grief. Either way he should never have a chance of freedom again..😷
