My daughter got a matching tattoo

A few years ago I posted this picture of the tattoo of a Jaguar I had done on my chest.

Then two weeks ago my daughter (the adopted one) decided to have the EXACT same tattoo done on the same spot:

I asked her why she would want to do it and she simply said she wants to honour me... Wow I was not expecting that.

She said she wanted me right there while it was being done so I could hold her hand, which of course I did.

I just never expected her to actually go through with it.

About 2 or 3 months ago I was visiting at her place and somehow we talked about this one chic I was dating. Now this chic came across as so sincere and my kids actually really liked her. She then decided to have the same tattoo done which everyone thought was a massive statement she was making. Well it turns out she was a lying, cheating ho... And based on this my daughter said "She does not deserve the honour of that tattoo. I am going to get it done myself to honour you properly."

At the time I didn't take her seriously, but a few months later... And here it is...

Your daughter sounds like a wonderful person. Thanks for sharing this.

@Rutterman She is. Sometimes she catches me off guard with the sweetest gestures. A few weeks ago I was working the night shift, but went down to work from her mom and dad's place and she was there too. Since I got there early, the dad and I had some beers, then I decided I was going to get some sleep to prepare for the night shift.

A moment later I woke up feeling a slight weight on my chest and I moved and opened my eyes... and there she was... apologising for waking me up, but she just wanted to lay her head down on my chest. Then she put her head down again and I rubbed her back and went back to sleep again.

Those are the moments that stays with me.

Do you know you can't get into Heaven with tattoos? Now your daughter can't either.
iMystery · M
@hunkalove Perhaps you need to learn that Old Testament was null and void after New Testament... Do yourself a favour and read, to understand, the book of Hebrews in the New Testament...

ARG what am I doing... Im not a religious person so will not get into a religious debate 🤦‍♂
@hunkalove In that case, I'm off to the nearest tattoo shop to get inked from head to toe.
hunkalove · 70-79, M
@iMystery The Old Testament was the Word of God. The New Testament was written by men.
