@cherokeepatti Don't want to, either. I used to BE Catholic. I'm sure it's a nice religion for the people who really believe in all that stuff...but there is a LOT of stuff. You practically have to have a playbook.

@4meAndyou legalism…making someone confess to “sins” even thoughts before communion is given for example. Have heard of priests trying to get teens to admit to lustful thoughts if nothing else.

At that time we had a VERY old Irish priest, and if we couldn't think of a sin, he would prompt us. "Were you disobedient?"

"YES, father!!"

" Say three hail Mary's." 🤣🤣🤣

@4meAndyou If I had been forced to go to a Catholic Church I would have made up some very embellished confessions. And then one day I would confess to having done it just to see if the priest ratted me out to my parents. 😂

@4meAndyou Every confession would have a long detailed story. You know how I like to retell things from my life using a long story form. Well I’d be good at that I think.
