I had a lead who got mad because I stopped going to potluck lunch’s they had at work. One of my coworkers told me that she had told them in the break room before work that I was a Communist because I didn’t eat pork. 😂 I think she was mad because I always brought 2 generous dishes and made some good salads and desserts and she missed that. She was a big eater, a really big eater. First in line so she could get what she wanted before it all got taken.

Sounds like a big gossiper too. We got that everywhere here as well. Is she a big lady?

@PatKirby One year she was moping around and saying she didn’t have money for Christmas that year. She was going to Subway every day and ordering 2 foot-long sandwiches, the largest Coke they sold and a bag of chips. She would sit at her desk and eat every bite. She did it every day until she ran out of money before payday and then bring some beans and a Crockpot to work and cook them at work and fry potatoes in an electric skillet in the break room. No wonder she didn’t have money for Christmas, she could have made sandwiches and tea and brought i from home for a small fraction of what she spent eating out in restaurants. She inherited her house from her mother and it was almost paid for and she ended up losing it right after she retired due to borrowing money from payday loan places. She was getting into selling Tupperware and Avon and people would order things and some didn’t pay for them (which is common for that to happen because people get low on money and change their minds). She’d have to pay for the stuff and ended up getting loans with exorbitant interest rates. Also had the electric company do improvements that were supposed to save energy. They let her make payments with interest but it was more than she saved on utilities so she got into debt with that too. And when her lawnmower broke down instead of getting it fixed or getting a new basic one she let the yard grow up and the city mowed it and charged her double of what a decent little mower would have cost her. Her grown son lived with her and provided transportation to work, paid most of the bills and mowed the yard etc. for her. Her dog would get out of the back yard and animal control would get called on her and they’d catch the dog and fine her for it, plus she’d have to pay to get the dog from the shelter too. It was always something. She got paid back for the rotten things she did to the workers all those years.
