I would say, from past experience, it is always about self sacrifice to the detriment of one's own mental and/or physical well-being. Feeling the need to jump into the bonfire of duty, responsibility, and exhaustion out of a traditional value system overlaid on top of the love you feel for your family is NOT exactly a recipe for health.

@Renkon I had very little sense of balance. I had to work, cook, shop for food, take care of my son, and clean and do laundry. The only help I received was that my son cleaned the bathrooms.
Eventually, I started having panic attacks because I was drinking too much coffee...trying to handle it ALL...and coping with the ex.
