If an estranged family member used a picture of another relative to contact you, would you be more or less inclined to talk to them?

I would look at the contacts in which that picture is used. If it's deception and manipulation, an ill intent move then I will be upset.

However, if they come clean and want to mend and rebuild with and sincerity then it may be okay. Because that person may have taught the door is closed and only way to open it is find another means.

Definitely upset at the deception. They aren't respecting the boundaries set up and they are using manipulation to reach me. Neither of these are okay, regardless of what they have to say.

Did they use some other relatives picture but with their name or did they use some other relatives picture and name?

If they use both the picture and the name of another relative then yeah I’d be ticked off

it should be an official serious chargeable offense to impersonate people online imo 😤 the law needs to catch up with the internet.. it’s like the wild west out here 😏
