It looks handmade and well crafted.
I recently took possession of a cabinet where my grandfather stored his cigars. It is copper lined within the wood cabinet that has 2 doors the open with an old-fashioned key. The doors have a painted inlay on them of flowers. It's pretty well worn, and I am trying to decide whether to leave it as it or try to restore the wood finish. The smell reminds me of him and the cabinet makes my mind hear my grandmother yelling at him to stop stinking up the house with his cigar. Surprisingly, it's a good memory that calms my mind.
I didn't go... I couldn't. I feel terrible. Don't be angry or disappointed.

@MarkPaul That's nice, I would look into options of restoration that is reversible and nondestructive, like oiling the wood or something like that. ☺ And it's okay, I'm not going to be angry or disappointed Mark, it's a big and scary step to take 🤗
