Well... I just saw my gmaw nekkid... Again...

She called and asked if I could come help her change out of her wet clothes after having an accident.
Atleast I got the on-call nurses to come wash her some time tonight so I wouldn't have to.

Tomorrow's gmaw day, but I'm still gonna drink tonight (I'll be sober by the time I leave the house tomorrow, ofc)

I see my mom naked almost everyday, but that's part of the job as a PSS.

She's in a wheel chair and is afraid to close the bathroom door in case I need to rush in. She's prone to falls.

@Jessmari I have no education in the field (or in general, really) and I never agreed to be gmaws go-to, but she and everyone else expects me to ever since I first grocery shopped for her november 2019.

I don't mind helping her, but there are certain things I'd rather not do.

@LordBarbossa Oh I am 100% on that with you. That was unfair of them to drop that burden on you without being prepared for it. Glad you have the nurses to help out though.

@Jessmari they're supposed to help her whenever she's in trouble, but they hardly ever do.

Last time gmaw had an accident of this type, she pushed the emergency button and told them she needed clean clothes and a wash. It took them 5h to arrive (she lives 5 min away from their work place)

An other time it took them 45 minutes to respond to the emergency call.

@LordBarbossa That is so messed up. It kinda sounds like a care facility might be a good idea in her case. Unless she's competent and completely opposed to it. (That's just an opinion based on what little I know of the situation)
LordBarbossa · 36-40, T
@Jessmari the only care facility around here is the one where those same nurses are stationed. They're sometimes on call, sometimes the facility nurses, depending on their shift.

@LordBarbossa I see. I hope things get better. It's a difficult situation indeed.

@Jessmari thanks. I try to remind myself of the fact she's the last of my grandparents, and as annoying as she can be, I'm gonna miss her when she's gone. Atleast she trusts me enough to call when she needs help.
