Grandparents, would you say you feel as if your role as a parent didn't end just because your kid had kids of their own?
Or how should I put this, do you feel more loyal to your child than to your grandchildren?

My mom said she treats my kids the way she wish she would have treated me but she was immature and wasn’t able to stand up to my dad. I dunno. I don’t give my mother a lot of access to my kids because of how I grew up. She says she is not the same and my kids do worship the ground she walks on but it’s complicated. Family is very complicated
