Do you consider a 20+ year old a kid?
Because my nephew and nieces in law think they still are. So no house work for them when in vacation.🙄

I think they're at that stage between still kids and young adults really. SoI think it's in between, science shows your brain matures later with the prefrontol cortex developing last. This isn't to say they can't do house work though, that's something even kids maybe should do or at least wash dishes or take out the garbage. I don't have children but if I did, they'd at least have some chores but maybe not a lot.
@SatanBurger they have house help when they are home so they are so used just doing their stuff
