I don't anymore, but when I was attending my church regularly I certainly did.
The people in my church are abnormally well-to-do, and I was always a church mouse.
I felt pressure to dress well, spend a lot of money on food that I would prepare for church events...and once, I bought a new crock pot and I was sooo proud of it, until another church lady pointed out her MUCH fancier crock pot with all the bells and whistles.
Then there were the women's events that involved donations...and I felt pressure to buy new items to donate.
