How do I deal, father with end-stage COPD?

Too many flare ups, the crackling sounds while breathing are getting worse. They gave him 4 months. every day could be the last.
Today he was worse compared to last week.
Nobody is really ready to sit down to talk through this yet.

My grandfather had that back in the late 1990s. The best thing I can say is try to make the most of the time you have left with him and focus on good memories. Hopefully that wasn’t insensitive
