Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda, Didnt

I am interested to know anyones things they wish they had done, and regret not doing because its just too late now.
My father passed away over 40 years ago. I never did sit him down and tell him with the greatest respect that I wasnt going to see or do things his way, no matter how much he refused to insist his was the only way to be right.
But I suppose having kids and grandkids who still love and care about me made my point..😷

@smiler2012 I cant be too hard on my father. He was born into the worst of the British stiff upper lip times with a depression and a war and into a family that had little time for children to be children. He was successful professionally. But had no clue how to be a parent. But the lessons he taught me led me to do the opposite he did a number of times and get it right, where he didnt even see the problem. I am glad he didnt live long enough to see my grandchilren. He would have been horrified at how I am rocking that job and still thought he was right..😷
