Searching in the dark, reminds me of a good one.

A man was searching the ground for something when another man noticed and asked him what he was doing. He said he lost his wallet and couldn't find it.

The second man asked "well where did you have it last?" The first man pointed away and said "way over there" to which the second man replied "so why are looking for it over here?"

The first man said "because the light's better over here."
