They act like they only want to talk about one thing. I am fortunate that I have a great primary care doctor. He is an osteopath and patient enough to go through what is bothering me and make recommendations and referrals for me without complaint.

They charge for the amount of time you require. Simple visit is 15 mins, cost is 125$. If you go over by 5 mins or more, another 125$. My doctor makes 500$ an hour. I only go in once a year for wellness check after getting a blood panel.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout yeah. I have declined the meds for cholesterol. But i broke my toe recently. Still hurts, and have terrible knee pain. Been putting off a doctor visit but an x ray of each would help.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Do you have osteopath doctors in Australia or is it all medical doctors? Osteopaths tend to work with you on lifestyle and other things that you can change if you show an interest in not wanting to be on a lot of meds. I have an osteopath for my primary care doctor and he is a breath of fresh air. He was a student at the dorms in the 1990’s when I started working there and he remembered me and mentioned recognizing me the first time I had a visit with him.
