Parents and me

Why do people think that this is a big deal when I or someone else still lives at home with their parents I’m still here because I have no choice I have epilepsy and I have no where else to go. Growing up people would be thrown out of their houses because they are either being disrespectful or just because they’re too old for their mommy and daddy

My mom got kicked out at 18. Basically when she was 18 her folks moved and she wasn’t allowed to come with them. Thankfully at 16 she had dropped out of high school to work, so she had some money saved up. If I were kicked out at 18 I’d be immediately homeless. I live alone now but tbh it’s only because my parents help me with rent. They’d rather pay to not have to deal with me 🥴

@Zeuro Hmm I would assume they just want you to gradually learn how to be independent, getting some help from the previous generation is a good thing 😋
