Outsider perspective- Their huge houses, tons to do and on top of that I like that they have some things protected by the constitution like freedom of speech.
One of the best things is you can find some good Gospel churches (like in the UK). I don't know why but I've always wanted to return to North Carolina for a holiday and go to church there and experience the fellowship.
Low church Anglican and I'd consider Southern Baptists my brothers and sisters in Christ- not our awful, progressive archibishops (some of whom are Biblically unqualified, the vast majority weren’t called at all).

@BritishFailedAesthetic Huge houses? 1,100 square feet, 1 bathroom for 4 people.
@graphite Whose house is that? It's probably bigger than our houses anyway 🤭

@BritishFailedAesthetic Mine. It's not considered huge.

@BritishFailedAesthetic I do remember seeing pictures of the houses, or apartments, the Beatles grew up in. Not single-family housing and all of them were tiny except John's. His aunt must've had some money.
@graphite I judge by YouTube videos...... and the suburbs of Charlotte 🤭

@BritishFailedAesthetic We've got plenty of homeless living in tents. Some of them turn down offers for government housing.
@graphite If they turn down offers for government housingthen they wouldn't be genuine.

@BritishFailedAesthetic There's places where the city wants to arrest them for turning down the housing.
