It’s easy is to turn away from the world and politics. Until you have a child, and then suddenly you’re anxious because it’s their world now.

My son is 8 months old and I’m thinking will his health care stay free as it was for me, will he be educated properly, will he be able to find work, buy a house, have money left over to have adventures with his friends.

I turned my back on the world when my friends and I came under sustained attack because of our religious beliefs, but now I need to use my votes and my actions to lay a foundation for him to build his own world.

He’s a lucky boy to have a mother as thoughtful and conscientious as you.

People will try to hijack your actions to serve their own agenda. Focus on your son as I do for my daughters.
