If they left it means they have confidence they can make it on their own. Things could be a LOT worse. You could be stuck with them forever, hanging onto you hoping you pass on so they can have all your stuff.
I know it sounds brutal, but I guarantee every kid has had that thought.
Now back to you.. this is your chance to travel, to do things you could never do before. What is on your bucket list? Pull one of those out and go hard at it. Have fun with what time is left.
