My husband and I don't want kids but our parents want grandkids, how should I tell them?

He and I talked and decided we didn't want kids before marrying, but our parents said they hoped for grandkids someday.

His parents had their life and kids. I find it annoying when people feel a need to control the next generation? Why do they want grandchildren so badly? Is it for them or to brag to their friends?
