I’m honestly confused why parents and seemingly every adult feels that need to squat when hugging their child?

Why is it that When a toddler, or older child like 7 years old gives an adult a hug, the grown-up always squats? Even when standing your child can easily hug you, so you can easily return their hug. What does squatting have to do with any aspect of a hug? For any parents that have kids in this age range like me, when they give you a hug,
I have two daughters, Hanah who is 7 and Rylee who is 4. I can hug both Hanah and Rylee when I’m standing, and they can give me a hug back.

just stay standing for both kids. See? both of them are hugging, or going in for the hug, alongside the adult just fine. Why wouldn’t you do this with both toddler and 7 year old? Why do grown-ups squat every time?

@HootyTheNightOwl but look in the photos. In those two links. Each kid is wrapping their arms around the adult and vice versa. That’s what I’m not understanding. Because even if your kid is a toddler, or seven years old just like my two, it seems like every adult feels that they have to squat. But as you see in those two pictures it’s not really necessary

I'm actually starting to wonder if you could be a pedo myself, given that you are putting so much time and effort into telling everyone who explains why adults squat down to the child's level that they are wrong??? This is a common tactic used by pedophiles to try to justify why they abuse others.
