I don't get some people

I'm co parenting at the moment and a few weekends ago him and his mum had her on Sunday for 5 hour's and when we picked her up they told me about a lump and bruise on her head.
His mum turned to my 6 year old and said to her have you battered your baby sister to her face. I will say it wasn't there in the morning.
How can someone be so horrible to blame a kid for what they have done and they didn't own up to it. This is the 4th issue I have had with them

I would take the child for a medical exam just to keep a record of it, in case of a future need.
MiraRoss · 31-35, F
@Miram it's been given to the police so it's on record through them

Best advice I could give is stop co-parenting darlin.
Stanlee · 61-69New
@MiraRoss If the courts are involved I understand. Have a cool/great Christmas MR.
MiraRoss · 31-35, F
@Stanlee yea they think it's in her best interests for both parents to see her. But I don't I've raised 2 others without father
Stanlee · 61-69New
@MiraRoss Single parent eh? Well good for you darlin.

Was it an accidental bump? Kids are gunna be kid.

The lack of ownership/responsibility is frustrating..
MiraRoss · 31-35, F
@VeiledExistence she nearly one and they kept blaming my other daughter said it was already there
VeiledExistence · 26-30, MNew
@MiraRoss id be furious..
MiraRoss · 31-35, F
@VeiledExistence trust me I was but it wasn't the time or the place to show it
2 types of kids teachers worry about. One's that are extremely bruised regularly for no apparent reason and one's who have absolutely no bruises as they tend to be far to protected.

My 2 boys are very physically active and almost always have some new scrap or bruise, if something more serious happens one parent informs the other and some times it is "stop punching your brother!"
MiraRoss · 31-35, F
@Justafantasy she's not even one yet so with them not owning up what happen it's hard
@MiraRoss fair, some bumps and bruises do happen from things like learning to walk (falling down) learning to run (into stuff) and just life. I'm not trying to defend anyone, just know I'm not surprised by some bruises
MiraRoss · 31-35, F
@Justafantasy she's crawling but not trying to stand yet but the size of the lump and bruise she's hit it off something big but fir them to not admit it is wrong and it's not the first time something has happened
AngelUnforgiven · 46-50, F
Deep down you should know their characters. Do you think that either of them are capable of harming her? If not, Maybe no one saw it happen and when it appeared they just assumed she'd hurt herself before leaving. In any case i wish you all the best. I know how difficult co-parenting can be. Try not to overreact, but be vigilant. Take a picture of her when she goes away with them for a few hours if you need to.
Oh hell no ...they would not be going back
MiraRoss · 31-35, F

i wouldn’t bring your kids there anymore no matter how hard it is to be a single parent. that won’t be the last time something happens and it will be worse every time.
MiraRoss · 31-35, F
@deathfairy it's not the first time. It goes through court so I have to choice
i am so sorry 😓 ur kids are getting abused over there. @MiraRoss
MiraRoss · 31-35, F
@deathfairy when I told court last time they said past is past and her future is more important for both parents to be in it
