Dealing with the grief of losing my son is almost unbearable some days and all of my family and friends try and get me out of the house. Last night my family hosted a costume party and I just threw something together. I was going for Julia Roberts, Pretty Woman but I got Dorothy Dandridge, Jessica Rabbit all night. 🙂 I think I needed that outing more than I realized.

Grief knows no bounds and no time limits, living your life is really good for you and doesn’t take away from your son. 🤗 My brother died almost 4 years ago, I raised him like a son while we were growing up. It devastated me, I took a break from life except for work for months, I couldn’t cope with people living life like nothing happened (even though they didn’t know my brother) and slowly started to socialize and it did me so good. I truly hope last night did you good and you felt some light in your life again. 🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂
You look wonderful as always. And I think you're doing the right thing in resuming normal activities. My mother did exactly that after the death of my brother. She always carried the wound in her heart but felt it would be a sin to carry on with life to it's fullest.
You look very beautiful and remember the best way to honor a loved ones memory is to celebrate not only their life but life itself. To keep them alive and enjoy they brought you in your heart everyday. That's what they would want for you also. And remember you will see them again in next time it will be forever
