Do you like the Christian or first names your parents gave you?

Would you class it as disrespectful to your parents to say that you don’t like your names?

Are family traditional names involved in your naming?

I don't hate the first name I was given, it goes nicely with my maiden last name. Though I didn't care for it as a child. I'd say I grew into it.

I think it's somewhat disrespectful to tell your parents that, yes.

Family names aren't involved in my first but my original middle is a combination of my mom's first and father's middle. I did use a few ancestor's names for my own child.
