She is upset because I said the great flood is a metaphor for the female 💦🧨💦

And I told her that because she found out I was happy yesterday, and decided today was a good time to rant about how much of Kafir i am, and ruin my slice of joy.

I think it is interesting how certain people feel entitled to link their existence to my life happenings, either to find out how to exploit, or to find something to criticize.

The right thing to do when you do not like someone is to leave them alone. Not latch unto them like a parasite and create situations to feel victimized, I sure hope.

Religious folk really can’t abide a different perspective.

It’s an ancient form of crowd control. You’re not allowed to step back and analyse what you’re being told to do.

@Morvoren I have abandoned religion like more than a decade ago. Even when I had hope in a god, it would barely count as real faith.

I think people like me who are living well are seen as a threat by merely existing because we are proof that you don't need to follow the game rules to succeed. You can create your own. It generates envy.

@Miram That sounds reasonable.

There is certainly a god, but it has nothing to do with any holy book or religious code. And it has much bigger priorities than what people choose to eat, or who they choose to love, or what they choose to wear.

We may not even be its favourite form of life, which might complicate things if we are the cause of other creatures facing extinction.

@Morvoren Not as sure it is a certainty. A possibility, yes.

Either way, what we know is that our time is limited. And I rather focus on what I can control, discover and experience. The unknown inspires but does not have to define.
