What are your thoughts about having kids if you didn’t have any yet?

I never had any. I have no regrets. I hear people complain about their kids so much. I work with kids so I don’t mind them, but I never really wanted my own. As a kid myself, I never got to explore life or do anything mostly bc we couldn’t afford it. We lived in a small house and it was gross and ugly. I put myself through school all at my expense. Now I make great money and can afford to do all the things I (and my family) only dreamed of. Anyway, I have a disabled sibling and I guess in a way, I get to express my nurturing side that way. Also bc I never had kids I got to care for my dying parents when it was their time without any other commitments to anyone else. They had kids very late so I lost them both in my 30s.
