I wonder if I have daddy issues.

I never met my dad, he abandoned me as a fetus. Tbh it never really bothered me not having a father in my life, I just sorta never thought about it? lol that might be due to my autism tho, I lack object permeance and I tend to never miss people because once they’re not around I just forget they exist. That’s probably why I suck at keeping up friendships.

Anyway, I realize at my age of 27 I only had one serious relationship. Not from lack of options, I just kinda ghost people when I get bored of them with no consideration for how it may affect them.

Is this daddy issues or just a case of the apple not falling down too far from the tree?

Daddy issues no. But I do think it may be attachment issues. You don’t get close or attach to people in fear of them leaving.

@Samek From what I know about my dad, he’s not a great guy either 😅 but in the past couple years I have met my half siblings that got put into foster care. Which is a silver lining because growing up I always wanted brothers and sisters.

@666Maggotz That's a silver lining. Really don't care about my bio cuz my mother was a victim of SA and that's how I was conceived but it would be nice to know about some family I'm not aware off. Been thinking about a DNA test
