There has been a total breakdown of discipline in the home and school steadily over the last 60 years. This is evident in the total lack of moral standards young peoples lives. A common method of dating is "hooking up" where youngsters select sex partners and then meet just to "do it" one time. A dress code in high schools and colleges is non existent as young ladies wear shorts such as daisy dukes to school. Drugs are easily available and commonly used. The problem starts in the home and pervades throughout society. So the call for encouraging
parents to be stricter with their kids is at least a good starting point.

I wholeheartedly agree. I also support judicial corporal punishment for criminals. In days of yore we had the pillory which was very effective. Discipline is just a necessary part of life. Being strict instills character!
