This happen Saturday night
So we was at the lake at the time and I noticed the clouds was getting dark so I checked the weather and it was a thunderstorm. So we decided to go back to the cabin and my husband started to cook dinner out on the grill before it started to rain. We just ate dinner and it started pouring down rain. Omg the whole yard was kind of flooded with 2 or 3 inches of rain. So I decided to take a shower and kind of relax before bed. Well the power decided to go out right in the middle of my shower. U know how hard it is to shower in the dark.
So I tried my best to finish my shower. I grabbed a towel and covered up and put my hair in a ponytail. I went into the bedroom and grabbed my purse and got a flashlight so I could get dressed. We decided to go back home. Of course the house had no power also. The kids just jumped in the pool to get cool. My husband did call to see how long the electric would be out and they said around 1 it should be back on. Well the house started to get hot so I just took off my dress and jumped in the pool.
Not long after I got in the pool my parent's came over. My mom asked me why we was all skinny dipping. I told her I sure wasn't going back into the house while it was hot. So she told me she had went to see my uncle. She had a few of my grandfather guns for me. She did bring a bunch of other stuff also. I wanted a old picture of my grandparents. I took a old rifle scope and a few other things. My kid's they wanted to shoot off a few fireworks. So I thought it would be fun my kids and my husband had a lot of fun.
