What would you think

If you met a potential romantic partner and he/she cut ties with their family.
Would that be a red flag immediately?

My relationship with my family isn't the greatest and i've been thinking about cutting them out of my life. But i'm wondering if people would think badly of me.

To me it would not be... Everyone has issues with family in some way - and some families, or members of a family can be toxic.. I know during covid - people were polarized.. There is also history of abuse and family doing things that were uncalled for when someone passed... i feel if the family is not good for one's soul, they are better off, and will make a better partner if they have the strength to shut out bad people / bad influences from their life.
